Outplay Films is an independent queer cinema company based in Paris and Marseille, specializing in international sales, distribution and co-production consulting.

For over 17 years, we have championed bold stories from around the world, building a catalogue of 230+ films across fiction, documentary and arthouse cinema.

From emerging voices to established filmmakers, we bring deep market expertise and a strong international network.

Our belief is simple: queer cinema is not a niche. It deserves a global audience.

Selective by choice. We work with a focused slate, giving every film the attention it deserves.

Queer identity is our starting point, not our limit. Each film opens doors to different festivals, buyers and audiences, and our strategy reflects that diversity.

From development to distribution and beyond, we stand alongside producers, championing their vision and delivering real results.
